So you were sittin with your pals on a Sunday; the extroverts are boisterously retelling stories of the night before, the introverts are tapped out, half of you are still going hard from Burn Night, some are fresh as spring flowers puttering around, some are tired and parched in your actual pajamas, someone had themselves together enough to cook up a mess of bacon and you’re all savoring the majesty of this food of the goods. Camps all around are already breaking down, some already gone, the playa is abuzz with unsettled chatter and packing noises. Not your camp, no way, you’d probably still be there until you ran out of resources. As per usual for Sunday mornings on the playa some chipper folks are on missions to say their goodbyes, others are on missions to gift their remaining consumables so they don’t have to pack them. n00bs. They have no idea how long Exodus is going to be. Without fail, 100% of Sundays at Burning Man a lithe and tan hottie will visit your camp with a watermelon, sometimes cut up, presented on a tray, ready to eat and magically delicious; more often than nought it’s a whole uncut melon. Maybe y’all are willing to cut it up - someone has already made bacon after all, the risk averse among the group are imagining warm grainy flavorless MOOP, the Sunday Watermelon.
I honestly do know if people pack a watermelon specifically to gift on Sunday, or if they had ambitions and good intentions to eat a watermelon but gave up when they realized how hard it’d be to achieve without an outstanding camp kitchen set up.
This Burner De/Merit Badge is my nod to every one of those lithe hotties on a mission to gift of a SUNDAY WATERMELON, I see you and your good intentions. Thanks, but no.

Everything in my shop is handmade to order by li'l ol' me in my home studio in Southern Oregon. There are some things that are easier to make in groups of 2 or more, so when someone orders one, I'll have leftovers giving me a small ready inventory, (the Burner De/Merit Badges for example). My shipping times have production times built in, however if I have it on hand, I'll ship asap. I don't actually have piles of inventory in stock =) the quantity available in each listing is there to give you an opportunity to order as many as you want.

Once you've placed your order, please send photos of the critter in question. Etsy lets us send three images per message.
I will send an email with instructions and some questions for what I need from you.
Please not that the shop observes weekends, I'll communicate with you Monday through Friday, if you place an order on Saturday, don't fret, I will be in touch when I get back to the shop.
What's the Best Material For Your Critter?
What's the best material for your critter?
If your kitty long or medium haired, choose the FUR option.
If your kitty is a sort hair, please choose FLEECE.
If your kitty is short haired and you order fur, I will use MINKY.
Once you've sent pictures I'll either pull materials from my stash, or shop for just the right thing for your special order. I will communicate with you along the way to ensure you're getting something lovely and as you expected.
I have an idea for a patch, how do I make that happen?
Using the contact form, send me a message with your ideas, size, colors, font thoughts, and how many you want. Let me know if you want it to be exclusive to you, or if it's cool to put in the shop as a new listing? This effects the price some.
Can you make this bigger or smaller, in a different color?
Heck yeah I can. If it's just color changes, let me know in the comments at check out.
If it's a size change, there may also be a price change, and I'll want to have a convo with you about it first. Go to the listing you'd like to have resized, and send me a message from that listing with your request. Once we get the details worked out I'll make a custom listing for you.

Where do you get designs?
Some of the patches in my shop are designed by an embroidery digitizer, (that's a skill in itself), I've purchased the design (often from other Etsy sellers) and have rights to create them. Other designs are digitized from the ground up by me, I've been learning to digitize since late 2021, and I have a lot to learn yet. I will also purchase embroidery files of specific elements to make compositions to save time, or because the other digitizer has more skill and experience than I do in with that kind of work.
